John Lewis aren’t overly pushy with their advertisements. I can only really recall their Christmas adverts, which are always marvellous. Their brand is established enough that do don’t need to tell people what they do.
However, introducing a new service is a perfect opportunity to roll out a new advert. This is what they’ve done, and it’s done brilliantly as expected.
It’s a perfectly executed advert, which is fun and sends the message. It alerts people to the new service, without a bombardment of information. The music (by Nina Nesbit) is light and entertaining and it represents their simple, family friendly brand perfectly.
