Many people have seen this advert already, but it’s so beautiful I really wanted to share it. The emphasis is on how women see themselves, and the discovery that you’re more beautiful than you think. Unless of course you’re Samantha Brick…
Dove have launched similar adverts before focusing on real beauty, where woman focused on what they loved about their bodies.
This new campaign shows forensic artist drawing a woman’s description of herself, and then we see the comparison to a strangers view of them.
Dove’s focus on its brand are simple cosmetics, nothing too fancy. It leaves me thinking of a more natural beauty. This advert is moving and I think should be passed on so people understand that they are more beautiful than they think.
Although the advert is emotional, it is still uplifting. On a less serious note, New Feelings Time Comedy have parodied the advert with men in mind, titled “Men. You’re Less Beautiful Than You Think.” Have a watch below.
